Team Project (2.5 days) - Game Jam

Designed under the gamejam prompt of “Underground” Doon was inspired by DUNE’s sandworms and the feeling of dread from the underneath.

The player is tasked to run around the sandy world and pick up 4 Macguffin’s to win. They must traverse the world via a-rhythmic movement.

Responsibilities:

  • System Design

    • The movement system tracking the angle of the player’s thumb stick, the longer it is held the worm’s aggression meter increases.

    • Haptic systems to match the worms movements.

  • Technical Art

    • The deforming of terrain to show previous movements
